How does my grandma from Buxtehude actually get to Munich, how are switches set and what do train conductors
actually do all day?
Bahn360 answers these and many other questions.
The interactive journey through the entire railroad universe. Whether on the desktop or mobile on the
smartphone. This WebXR application looks behind the scenes of a monster performance with humor, fun and
excitement: transporting people from A to B ;-)
What would a trip be without nice travel companions? That's what we thought, too. That's why Laura and Theo
accompany the users through the world of Bahn360. They provide information and a lot of background information.
The users can decide interactively what information they want our two tour guides to share.
And if you think we've cast both of them especially for this purpose, you're barking up the wrong tree.
Theo and Laura are Deutsche Bahn employees, just like all the other people who appear in Bahn360 - cool, isn't
it?
In addition to the interactive people in the world of Bahn360, users also receive additional information or anecdotes via push messages. Theo, for example, provides background knowledge and clarifies the "railroad ABC. The messages are played out interactively so that they fit ideally into the experience and only appear when the users can actually use them. The additional information rounds off the entire web experience and makes it more modern and exciting.
The project was produced all over Germany at the most diverse divisions of Deutsche Bahn. For example, in the
Deutsche Bahn Tower in the middle of Berlin, where the head office operates.
Or at a freight terminal in Mannheim, where tens of thousands of goods are loaded and shipped by rail every
hour. The insight behind the scenes has thus become quite comprehensive.
Bahn360 is an exciting journey for anyone who has always wanted to know why trains (usually) arrive and depart
on time.
